Lisa, German teacher
Your teacher

Hi, I'm Lisa.

I grew up bilingual in English and German, and I've spent nine years helping students of every age fall in love with the language, earning rankings in the top 5% of instructors across multiple platforms. My lessons are warm, practical, and personal: real conversation, real progress, and a plan built around what you actually want German for.

Students often ask about the science behind my method. Alongside my language work, I hold a Master's degree in art therapy, a medical and therapeutic field where I studied neurolinguistics: what actually happens in your brain when you learn a language. Every lesson is built on research-based learning methods, so your practice time works with your brain, not against it.

FAQ

Quick questions

Do you teach children and teenagers?

Yes! I teach kids, teens, and adults, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Parents can sign a child up directly through the new-student form above.

What happens in the free 30-minute trial?

A relaxed mini-lesson plus a level assessment. You'll leave knowing your level, your options, and whether we're a good fit, with no commitment either way.

How long is each lesson?

Regular lessons are 50 minutes long. Your first trial lesson is a free 30-minute session so we can meet and set your plan.

Can two people share a lesson?

Yes. With a semi-private lesson, two learners (couples, friends, or family) share one 50-minute session for $55 per person. It's a great way to learn together and keep each other motivated. Just ask when you book.

Are lessons online? What about time zones?

All lessons are online and scheduled flexibly across US and European time zones.

I'm moving to a German-speaking country. Is there something for me?

Yes! Relocation is my specialty. Visit the main page for integration coaching, visa exam prep, and workshops designed for your move.
